Why not take a break from routine and chores this holiday season? Plan your getaway and bring the whole family to the Gold Coast for a Palm Beach holiday.
The Gold Coast is a great place to spend your vacation because of its natural beauty, theme parks, and family-friendly activities. Let’s start with where you’ll be staying.

Royal Palm Resort Facilities
In addition to their spacious and self-contained apartments, the Palm Beach Hotel Gold Coast has various onsite facilities where you can relax and unwind. How does swimming in a lagoon-style swimming pool of 33 meters sound? Isn’t it lovely?
Add that to your list of things to do during your stay. The lagoon-style pool, complete with a waterslide and waterfall, is a breathtaking sight at any time of day or night. Make time to relax in the heated spa steam room or play a game of tennis with the whole family.
When hunger strikes, make use of the resort’s electric barbecue grills. For even more family bonding, visit the resort’s mini putting green, giant games board, or games room, including multiple arcade machines and a pool table.
When you’re ready to go, stop by the friendly tour desk team for easy bookings, car rental services, and more.
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a fantastic place to visit during your vacation. The Gold Coast’s most popular tourist destination is not only an attraction with unique experiences, but it is also a learning environment for both children and adults. For more than 70 years, the sanctuary has been protecting native wildlife and preserving the area’s indigenous heritage.
How do they accomplish this? They can educate visitors about various living creatures such as crocodiles, dingoes, eagles, emus, koalas, lorikeets, pelicans, red pandas, Tassie devils, wombats, kangaroos and wallabies, and more by welcoming them to experience the sanctuary.
Shows, Encounters & Experiences
During their visit to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, visitors can watch a variety of shows. Lorikeet Feeding, Pelican & Eel Show, Blinky Bill’s Rookie Ranger Station, Wildskies, Wildlife Hospital Presentations, Aussie Scales & Tails, and Aboriginal Culture Show are among the attractions.
You can also take advantage of the sanctuary’s many encounters and experiences, such as the Lost Valley Experience, for a closer look and understanding. You’ll spend the afternoon with the wildlife team here. Take in the keepers’ interactions with the animal ambassadors. If you have a question, don’t be afraid to ask it.
What about getting up close and personal with an Australian bird of prey? Learn how to handle a raptor! In our Wild Skies Free Flight Bird Show, experienced trainers will teach you the fundamentals of modern and traditional falconry, as well as the techniques used to free fly birds.
Do you want to take on a challenge? There is an adrenaline-pumping TreeTop Challenge inside Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. It consists of 80 massive TreeTop Challenges, including 11 insane ziplines. Don’t worry; the TreeTop Challenge fee includes all safety equipment, including a helmet, harness, and gloves. In addition, before the start of the course, all participants will be instructed.
The sanctuary’s private Wildlife Hospital Tour is the most important experience. For one hour, you will be able to visit the world’s busiest wildlife hospital. You will be personally escorted around the hospital to learn about the medical care each animal receives, witness live surgery (if available), walk through their rehabilitation area, and see many other exciting places that the general public does not have access to. Be inspired and help to raise awareness about the work being done in this hospital.
Special Events & Shows
In addition to the experiences mentioned above, the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary hosts special events on holidays such as Halloween. FestEvil at the Fanctuary, which ran for three spooky nights from October 29 to 31, has come to an end. Guests of all ages were encouraged to dress up, ride the Ghost Train, and eat delectable treats. The haunted house and trick terror-ific inflatable fun were enjoyed by little monsters ages 3 to 13. There were zombies and roaming entertainment as well.
Last Christmas, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary debuted a brand-new show for the holiday season. Everyone was surprised by ‘Blinky Bill’s Christmas Wish,’ which included songs and fun dance routines. After the show, guests were encouraged to have their family Christmas photo taken with Blinky and Nutsy!
So, if you want to give your kids an action-packed vacation, take them to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!
