BLEACH 2021 is not to be missed this August, returning bigger and better than ever for its 10th anniversary on the Gold Coast.
Not sure what BLEACH is about? BLEACH Festival Gold Coast is an annual celebration of culture, heritage and performing arts, showcasing local and international artists across an epic 11-day program that involves something for everyone.
This year, BLEACH 2021 will once again set up its festival hub on Burleigh Heads Beach. Other performances locations are Southport, the Gold Coast Botanical Gardens, Currumbin and Mudgeeraba!

What to expect at the BLEACH Festival?
Plenty! Unmissable events include First Light – a FREE opening festival performance featuring Emma Donovan, Yugambeh Aboriginal Dancers, Myora Stone and Yugambeh Choir – and Last Light, a large-scale closing ceremony involving 10,000 candles on the beach, also FREE.
There’s also a FREE one-day concert to catch in Justins Park Burleigh, headlined by famous Australian rapper Briggs. And if that’s not enough, ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko is going to perform one whole night in the stunning Gold Coast Botanical Gardens!
Overall, there will be exciting events to catch daily – free as well as ticketed – boasting everything from live music and dance to theatre, circus and live art.
Will it be COVID Safe? Yes! BLEACH Festival will follow QLD Health guidelines, encouraging all festival-goers to comply with 1.5-metre social distancing, regular hand sanitation and QR code entry.
