Palm Beach Parklands
It takes only a minute to drive or four minutes to walk to the Palm Beach Parklands.
Palm Beach Parklands is one of the Gold Coast’s most excellent and famous places. It features a lovely open space with views of Currumbin Creek. There are also barbecue facilities, a picnic shelter, and a table available for visitors to enjoy a beautiful lunch with the whole family. If you prefer buying, from 7.30 a.m., the on-site Dune Cafe serves breakfast and lunch. There are change rooms and showers if you wish to dip in the ocean.
Please note that the pirate park is closed for renovations and will reopen in mid-2022; however, you are welcome to visit and enjoy the remainder of the parklands.
Currumbin Alley Surf School
Would you like to learn a new skill while on holiday? The resort is only a 2-minute drive to Currumbin Alley Surf School. Surf lessons are available for people of all ages, sizes, and abilities at the fully certified and insured surf school, which began in 1993.
They have a devoted team of experienced and enthusiastic surf instructors dedicated to offering the best learn to surf lessons available. Rather than standing on the beach and watching you struggle, the instructors ensure that your surfing experience is unforgettable and guide you throughout the process.
Sunrise classes, an adult 8-week surfing challenge, group lessons, ladies lessons, solo lessons, and adult improver sessions are among their services.
Tree Top Challenge Currumbin
Take the TreeTop Challenge at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to test your endurance. This outdoor activity provides spectacular views and an exhilarating experience that you will enjoy. There are 11 ziplines at the TreeTop Challenge, including the legendary “Croc Shock,” where you practically glide over crocodiles.
You will be zipping over kangaroos, dingoes, and emus, among other animals. There are almost 80 challenging elements to complete, ranging from easy to intense. There are balance beams, swing into nets, and shuffle across single wires in the challenges. And because this adventure takes place within Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, why not take advantage of the sanctuary’s fantastic wildlife shows and presentations?
Currumbin Boatshed Paddleboard Hire
Do you prefer a relaxing water activity? Why don’t you try renting a kayak or go fishing? Currumbin Boatshed Paddleboard hire is perfect. Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUPs), single and double seater kayaks, and fishing equipment are all available. They’re directly on the water’s edge of Currumbin Creek. It means their gear is ready to go, and you won’t have to lift or carry anything.
Currumbin Rock Pools
Currumbin Valley’s gem is alongside Currumbin Creek Road, just a short drive from Currumbin Beach (10-15 minutes). Currumbin Rock Pools is a terrific place to spend a peaceful day with friends and family. Shelters, picnic tables, barbecues, restrooms, and other amenities are available in the vicinity. There are also the lovely rock pools, a hidden swimming hole popular with locals and those who make an effort to find this hidden gem.
