Planning where to go next? How about a fun day at one of Gold Coast's premier attractions?
The Wet'n'Wild Water World is basically a massive aquatic playground. It features heart pumping rides and water slides such as the AquaLoop, Constrictor, FlowRider, Mammoth Falls, River Rapids, SkyCoaster, Super 8 and Surfrider. Besides these, the water park also have their own “beach”. The Calypso Beach is where you can relax and simply float around the river through sub-tropical gardens.
If you are worried about the kids, there is no need for that. Just head over to the Wet’n’Wild Junior, a zone specially design for the little ones. Yes, that means kid friendly water rides and slides. But if you are a real thrill seeker, don't miss the opportunity to try one or all of the rides at the Extreme H2O Zone.
The zone showcases four extreme water rides such as:
Blackhole: Are you ready to slide your way through the darkness? Then gather your courage, choose a partner, and try the Blackhole extreme ride. The Blackhole is made up of two encapsulated tube water slides where the riders make their way along with the twists, turns, and darkness with a top speed of 40 km/h.
Kamikaze: The Kamikaze is one crazy ride. Besides taking an 11 metre vertical plunge on a 70 degree angle at the speed of 50 km/h, you and your partner will also be flying forward and reverse in this giant U-shape slide. So hold on tight and scream if you must.
Mach 5: Do you love speed? Then the Mach 5 is for you. It is a large water slide which is divided into five. The first two are called Sidewinders. They are open slides with twists as the bottom. The other three are high speed body slides called Jetstreams. Invite your family and friends for an amazing race.
Tornado: If you want a ride fit for the whole family or a group of four friends, the Tornado is the perfect choice. From the 15 metre high platform, you will ride through the eye of the tornado down the 40 metre long tunnel at a top speed of 40 km/h.
